Part of citizenM Hotel’s mission is to “welcome all” and their interior design team wanted to create a wallpaper based on this notion to be used in the hotel entrances globally. It’s proven that we feel more welcome in a space when we see others in that space whom we share characteristics with. So what better way to welcome people than with a whole bunch of global personalities.

No models here, only “real people” wearing and doing whatever made them feel… like them. Casting went beyond “different skin tones” to truly reflect intersectional diversity. Tattoos, hard hats, nipples, make up, scars, religious wear, and “just jeans and a tshirt” were proudly on show.
