A tale as old as time: marketing folks don’t like hearing that their proposals aren’t “on brand” and creatives aren’t fans of last-minute content requests.

I proactively lead the project to develop a quarterly “toolbox” of storyline concepts and corresponding visual assets. Some were geared to specific offers, others were flexible so the marketing teams could autonomously tailor to their content strategy and deploy to their global email marketing list without delays or dependencies.

With this fresh new look, new storylines, and new process, open rates and click-through rates increased across all email marketing activities. And the marketing folks and creatives lived together happily ever after...
