A photo and video content series ‘unlocking’ the cities of citizenM. From skylines and landmarks to the back alleys and tactile details that make a city what it is.

When you say “New York”, many will think of the iconic skyline. But this content series aimed to take people’s imagination deeper - to make the audience feel like they’re there on the street. Hazy neon seen through steam, the texture of the bricks that the city is built from, the way people spend time in public spaces.
The content series covered Paris, Zurich, Geneva, London, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Miami, and 10+ other cities. Examples shown here are from Glasgow and Amsterdam.
In contrast to the quick-fire social content strategy, this series delivered a long-term photo and video library for the in-house team to use in all design and communications.
