Hello, I'm Ali Elliott
I was raised in dear, green Glasgow and educated at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee.
My creative practice is strongly concept driven.
That's why I'm interested in design that reaches 'real people' and has real impact. I believe good design can make the world a better place - more enjoyable, more sustainable, more positive - and I'd like to be a designer making those changes. With a love of research, an awareness of cultural sensitivities, and an approach that balances business interests with design, I love the feeling of working in a team to create a campaign, identity, poster or website that works on every level.
I enjoy collaboration and team work. I'm not protective of my ideas. I'm happy working with headphones or at a big shared table throwing ideas around. I'm excited by projects with global reach or helping out a local community group. I'm a hard worker and an optimist. I like to present to clients and make cups of tea for the team. I hope to work in a studio with a friendly, inclusive ethos and as a new graduate, can't wait to listen to and learn from those with more experience.
My interests and strengths lie in;
Concept creation and development, brand identity, editorial design and copy writing.
